The Fort Collins Board of REALTORS hosts an annual fundraising Bowl-A-Thon to help one of our members who is in immediate need of financial assistance. 

This year, the Bowl-A-Thon recipient is Gary Murphy, a REALTOR® member of FCBR!

Approximately 2 years ago, Gary  Murphy started randomly losing consciousness. He was diagnosed with Hypertrophic Cardiomyopathy (HCM), a condition where the heart muscle becomes abnormally thick, making it harder for the heart to pump blood effectively. This condition was restricting blood flow to Gary’s head, which is what was causing him to lose consciousness. Since his diagnosis, Gary has been limited on what he can physically do on a day-to-day basis. He does not drive much at all, which has significantly affected his business as a Realtor®. This, combined with the cost of his medication, has made it difficult for him to keep up with his monthly expenses.

Our goal is to raise $20,000 from our membership and with the help of our community. To participate in this momentous fundraiser we have lane sponsorships, bowling teams and, most importantly, significant donations of goods or services for drawing prizes.

The FCBR 2025 Bowl-A-Thon

🍻4:30 pm to 6:00 pm:  Happy Hour  
(a portion of these proceeds will be donated by Chipper's to Gary Murphy!)

🎟️5:00 pm: Registration and donation drawing ticket sales 

🎳5:45 pm: Practice Bowling

🎳6:00 pm to 8:00 pm: The Event!
(This includes two games of bowling, food, and opportunities to win donation drawing items.)
