About Scott - 

Scott Robinson is a graduate of the University of Colorado, Boulder with a bachelor's in biology and political science, and graduate of the University of Wyoming with a master's in planning. He has prior experience in both the public and private sectors outside of planning. Scott brings over 20 years of planning experience, from the city of Bloomington, Indiana, as the new Community Development Director for Timnath.

About Cody - 

Cody Bird is the Planning Director for Wellington, Colorado and oversees the Planning and Zoning Department, Building Department, Code Enforcement and all planning, development and building activities of the Town. Cody has been with the Town of Wellinton since 2017, and since that time, has guided updates to the Town's Comprehsensive Master Plan, Land Use Code, Waterwise Landscape and Irrigation Design Manual, and Town Infrastrucutre Master Plans, among others. Cody is an advocate for purposeful growth to ensure continued economic success of the community, and to protect investments of residents and businesses that live and work in the community. Cody has a Master's Degree in Urban and Regional Community Planning from Kansas State University, and is certified with the American Institute of Certified Planners (AICP).


Government Affairs Committee Meetings address current legislative and regulatory issues affecting the real estate industry. For FCBR members to discuss topics such as housing policies, zoning regulations, and property taxes at the local, state, and federal levels with local leaders and/or experts in the field. The Committee collaborates to identify priorities and formulate advocacy strategies to influence decision-making. These meetings aim to advance the interests of all property owners, and the broader real estate community.
